How to Apply for the iMudra Digital Wallet?

To register for the iMudra digital wallet, you need to visit the iMudra official website and Sign up. After signup, you need to authenticate your mobile number using OTP. You then have the option to apply for a virtual card or a physical card. The users can use either virtual or physical cards for hassle-free transactions, either online or offline. As of now, users can make purchases on Indian Websites only. Unlike other ATM cards, the first three withdrawals from ATMs through iMudra physical cards are free. The users would be levied Rs 20 plus applicable taxes on subsequent transactions.

How can I Send Money Instantly to Friends and Family Using the iMudra e-Wallet App?

You can also send and receive money instantaneously using the iMudra digital wallet app. For that download, the IRCTC iMudra app from Google Play or the App Store and complete the KYC registration. A full KYC verification would be done by iMudra agent, who would physically visit the applicant’s place upon prior appointment. He will verify all the relevant hard copies submitted by the user and upgrade the KYC. The monthly wallet limit is Rs 1,00,000 for full KYC verified users. For minimum KYC verified users, the minimum monthly limit is Rs 10,000. After successful verification, one can open the iMudra website and click on the “Top-up” option. The customers can add money to the wallet by either credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. IRCTC levies the convenience fee on par with the amount added.

How can I Block My IRCTC iMudra card?

In case if you happen to lose your physical card and want to block it, you can do so by visiting the iMudra website. Find the “My Cards” section present on the left side of the menu and click Suspend/Unsuspend/Block Card as applicable. Then you would receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Upon successful verification, you can successfully block your card.
